On Saturday, our friend Rémi (or Mokdad), my colleague from Université de Bourgogne joined us on our climbing trip to Fixin and kindly lifted us by car!

These stairs connect the starts of the route and the plateau.

Mid-autumn, many leaves have fallen down.

The city of Fixin is visible from the Plateau.

Natasha is top-roping a 30m 5c+. I managed to complete it lead with several pauses but it was so scary that it is doubtful that I would like to repeat it in a nearby future. Apparently, the distance between some of the bolts was 3 meters and I am not yet comfortable with falling from such heights. You have to trust the friction in the crux section to complete the route.

Natasha has passed the crux section and is about to finish the route.

A view on the valley.

Another view on the valley.

On this picture you can see both the climber and the belayer.

Natasha is detaching herself from the anchor in order to go down.

A view on another sector.

A lonely airplane. We have seen several airplanes during the days, but mostly small and low-flying ones.

Grass is growing in the holes of the crag.

The route was not so obvious!

But still doable.
